StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. Her next roles were Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was the daughter of an Mexican mother, as well as an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) as well as a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. She is a U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. Her brother and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her debut in film at Rio de Oro, she began her career as a Mexican TV actress. She played Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. [6] The film was selected as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, didn't make the final list. [9] Sigman was nominated for the Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award in 2011 for her performance in film. [10][11] She starred in the Canadian documentary, Flight of the Butterflies the following year.
