Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Born and brought up in California USA she started her modelling profession in Italy. Her acting career began in 1996 when she starred in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Then, in a minor role in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. It was difficult for her to transition into acting since actors were never considered skilled actors and generally were offered smaller parts. Amy persevered. She climbed the ladder into bigger roles, beginning in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy then moved into leading roles in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition for her work over the past 10 years. Amy was in several big movies in the Crank trilogy with Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role in Shameless.
