Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Her modeling career started in Italy in Italy, where she was raised and born in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first part. Her fight to secure the role in Starship Troopers, a film which featured only minor characters, was a gruelling battle. It was at first was difficult for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models don't have the ability to act. And they are usually assigned small and insignificant roles. But somehow Amy was determined to keep going and began to take on bigger roles eventually starting with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her perform larger roles. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years when her film just Friends debuted. Then she continued to appear in some of the biggest film productions, such as the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
