Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director as well as a producer, playwright, as well as an educator at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents.
