Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for films in the young girl as well. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school, and was a drama enthusiast. She was a great actress and enjoyed performing with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to be an actor throughout her schooling and she picked acting for a profession. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. She won an assignment for PBS to make documentaries for the course of three months. Her first job was as a production assist for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the project. Then, she switched to the production of documentaries. But she still had a desire to be an actor, even though she was satisfied with her current job. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star on romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared on many TV and film series.
